Angie's next date with Jack, is going to a party at Fitz's cabin. All the girls and boys drank a keg of beer, and Angie had a cup but never took a sip. About fifteen people were there and they all sat in a circle in the living room, just singing, listening to music, having a good time. They played chuga- lug, a drinking game, and Angie sat there laughing with the rest of them having a great time. Her and Jack go out on the lawn a lie down on a blanket and he asked her if she was having fun, and if she regretted Friday, and other simple stuff. She said she was having a great time with him, and she started thinking why he would think such things. He put his hand on her but she pretended it wasn't even there.
That's the part i don't understand through out the book. Jack puts himself forward trying to be nice and affectionate, and Angie passes it off as nothing, like when he touches her hand, she pretends it isn't there. I just find it weird.
