After the last day of school Lena, Ethan, and Link decide to go to the beach. But when everyone in the school reached to parking lot they realized that everyone's tires, except Lena's were slashed. So the three of them piled into Lean's hearse and headed for the beach. After having a great time there Ethan and Lena start to make out while Link is in the water. Ethan starts to feel unpleasantly warm and starts to realize that Lena accidentally caught them on fire with her casting. She then runs away because she thinks she's going to eventually become her mother and kill Ethan. She runs into the swamp, but as Ethan tries to catch up with her she throws trees and logs in his path to create distance. When he reaches the highway he only sees Lena jumping onto John Breeds motorcycle.
